You’re Not Crazy, You’re Just Psychic

Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read or been told. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or 911 immediately.

Are you often mislabeled as being troubled, sensitive or a worrier? Have you ever stopped to think that rather than being “crazy,” you may have a remarkable superpower that you have yet to understand and master?

I once believed I was a troubled teen, but instead of treatment I needed insight into my own psychic abilities. Frequently, I was engaging in quarrels without knowing that I had a near-supernatural aptitude to feel people’s energies and emotions, even from afar. With this prowess, I would usually catch myself starting conflicts spontaneously.

Not until I had kids did I gain a better understanding of myself and my abilities. Over time, I embraced my unique gifts and learned to make the most of who I am instead of calling myself “crazy.”

If you recognize any of the signs I’m about to present, you may not be troubled or crazy at all. It’s possible that the unusual experiences you’re having are an indication of a developing psychic mind.

You may be psychic if you… 1. Are a worrier - A number of my clients are worriers, and their concerns are usually justified. Worrying isn’t always a bad thing; it can be a sign that something isn’t right and needs to be addressed as soon as possible. Worrying is a natural instinct that humans have developed over time.

Negative feelings about worrying aren’t necessary because worry can be a powerful form of self-protection. Stop worrying about worrying and realize that you have a protector ombudsman – a guardian or champion. Worrying is a superpower that can be used to anticipate and plan for potential problems. You can use it to identify how to avoid potential pitfalls and confidently move forward. Thinking ahead and planning carefully can help to prevent unnecessary stress and worry in the future. Worrying can also help you to become an expert problem solver, ready to tackle any challenge that comes your way.

2. Have anxiety - Do you feel anxious for no reason? Anxiety is a natural human emotion experienced by almost everyone at some point in their lives. And even though anxiety can be uncomfortable, it can also be used as your body’s early warning system that something is wrong or a potential opportunity.

Anxiety can be a superpower when it’s managed through mindful strategies such as self-care, developing positive thinking habits and, if necessary, professional help. With careful management, people can use their anxiety to be hyper-aware and motivated, leading them to be more successful in many aspects of their lives. You can learn to use your heightened sense of alertness to be extra prepared and ahead of the curve in your life, career, relationships and spirituality. Anxiety can also be a superpower that helps propel you into action and makes you seek out the resources you need to create positive changes in your life.

3. Hear voices - Psychics can detect and interpret messages from the spirit world. Therefore, it is not uncommon for us to hear voices in our heads. However, if the voices in your head are consistently negative and consume your daily life, you may wish to seek medical or spiritual guidance. You are not your thoughts, and you don’t have to believe everything that comes to mind.

Having voices in your head may at times feel stressful, overwhelming or even scary. While these voices can feel quite daunting and intrusive, they can also be powerful sources of guidance and insight.

You may hear positive and encouraging messages that can motivate you and provide you with a sense of clarity and focus. On the other hand, you may find yourself stuck in a cycle of negative thoughts and feelings, which can be difficult to break out of. These voices in your head can be viewed as a dynamic duo of yin and yang. While it’s important to recognize and address any negative emotions that arise, it’s equally important to acknowledge and nurture the positive aspects of your inner voice as well. With dedicated practice, you can learn how to use both sides of your inner voice to become more self-aware and an empowered super being.

4. Are introverted - Some of us are recluses who keep to ourselves, avoid large crowds, prefer more intimate settings and maintain a low profile. And I have to confess that this is most definitely me. I’m more introverted now than when I was younger, and I’ve learned to embrace it.

Being an introvert can be a psychic superpower in multiple ways. Introverts are often more observant, perceptive and aware of their surroundings than extroverts. This can give introverts keen insight into other people’s thoughts and feelings, allowing them to more accurately guess their intentions, motivations and emotional states. This intuition can also give them an edge in predicting the behavior of others and anticipating potential outcomes of social and professional interactions.

Additionally, introverts often foster a deep connection with their inner wisdom and intuition, giving them the ability to draw on their own resources more effectively than extroverts. This self-awareness can allow them to navigate difficult relationships and situations with greater ease and make decisions guided by their authentic values instead of societal expectations. In this way, introverts can use their innate power of introspection to create their own unique path in life and become the best version of themselves.

5. Have empathy - Do you have people telling you to stop being so sensitive, as if sensitivity were a disease? An empath is someone who has a heightened ability to pick up on and understand the emotions of other people. They can “step into the shoes” of other people and feel what they are feeling, including their pain, joy or any other emotion. They also have very strong reactions to these emotions and can go from feeling nothing to feeling very strongly in a split second. People who are empaths are often seen by others as too sensitive because they understand and feel emotions so deeply.

If you have heightened sensitivity or empathy, you can use this intuitive power to sense and understand the feelings, thoughts and experiences of others.

You can utilize this increased level of perception to be compassionate and create meaningful connections with other people. You can tune into the emotional and mental states of others, even in difficult conversations, to help reach a resolution. You can detect reactionary people or those draining your energy and protect your mental and emotional boundaries. Moreover, you can use this power to help those in need and uplift the spirit of those around you.

6. Are depressed - Depression is a serious condition, so if you truly believe you’re depressed, you should seek help right away. However, you may want to consider the term depressed as “deep rest.” It could be a warning that you need to prioritize self-care – to get some rest. It’s also essential that you investigate the source of your depression and take the steps that are most beneficial to you so that you don’t settle into a deeper negative emotional space.

However, depression can be transformed into a superpower. Depression can provide you with valuable insight into how you think and teach you how to better understand yourself, others and the world around you. This can also lead to increased empathy, creativity and resilience. Additionally, depression can aid in the development of creative problem-solving skills, a greater sense of self-worth and personal power and a new outlook on life. Although depression can be a difficult and painful experience, it can also provide you with a unique opportunity to explore your own inner strengths and develop a heightened sense of understanding and perseverance.

Who would have believed conditions such as these could work in our favor, granting us psychic abilities? It might seem like a big deal at first to experience these seemingly negative conditions, but it turns out that these so-called “disorders” can sometimes be really powerful extrasensory abilities.

You’re not crazy, you’re just gifted. You should be proud of your unique abilities, as I am. I’ve found a way to accept my extrasensory perceptions while also making use of them. I view these powers not as something I suffer from, but rather as a gift. So don’t let anyone call you crazy or make you feel bad about being psychic. Instead, own that power!
