One of my favorite lyrics in my song "Tarot" is about Cupids Arrow. I asked the artist to do an oil like painting type of drawing where cupid would be shooting his arrow through a Tarot card while a woman lays helplessly in love beneath him.
When I wrote this lyric, I just envisioned cupid as not being the cute little love angel we have all grown to admire and adore. I saw him more so as this sinister little man who keeps shooting you in the heart when all you are trying to do is move on.
This lyric is just very symbolic to love and how it has this pull on your heart when all your trying to do is be strong and love someone who keeps hurting you. And this graphic will be included in the digital download of "Tarot" if you purchase the mp3 through the site.
